The Enemy Part II

How Powers Beyond Our Comprehension Have Figured Out and Rigged The Game. Here's How We Beat Them.

(This is part 2 of this series. Read part 1 HERE. I would also highly recommend the classic “The Screwtape Letters” by C.S. Lewis, a hypothetical conversation between demons, discussing humans, God, and the strategy with which to enslave humanity and defeat their “enemy”.)

Now that we know who the Enemy is, where it comes from, and what its basic MO is, we can start to talk about how the Enemy manifests itself in our reality, here and now.

We are in the middle of a cosmic battleground, captive flesh and blood in no-man’s land between the eternal forces of light and dark. We are moved and influenced by these forces.

We’re far from puppets though. If we were puppets, we could claim ignorance. We wouldn’t be accountable, and we would not be able to influence these forces in return. I’ve heard it said that in all that we do, we’re channeling them to bring heaven or hell into this reality. So while we’re not the point of this epic battle between light and dark, we play a major role, because in our choices, we manifest our reality.

Those first humans didn’t HAVE to listen to the serpent. They made the choice to. Likewise, we don’t HAVE to listen to the Enemy today, but we make the choice to. We choose to tell a white lie and cheat on our taxes. We choose infidelity. We chose to take advantage of someone less powerful or knowledgeable. We choose to manipulate. We choose to degrade. We choose to be violent.

Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” It’s a bold statement, but to those that believe (and even to those that don’t), it presents a plumb line, a standard. If there’s no absolute truth, then anything is possible, permissible, and in bounds.

Returning to the Genesis story, we know that humans were made to have boundaries and structure. With free will must come a standard that needs to be met. Consequences must accompany decisions. Otherwise, there’s no meaning, purpose, faith, or love. There is only blind obedience, and as we’ve seen over the last couple of years, blind obedience to “authority” begets human robots.

Our Creator did not intend for us to be robots. He intended for us to live in the fullness of life, and the only way for a true, cosmic human experience to be possible is to live with the freedom to make choices, even if those choices are disobedience and rebellion to the very principles that promote human flourishing.

In order to destroy human flourishing, our Enemy must take every system, every institution, every eternal principle, every truth, and twist, distort, and pervert them from what they were originally meant to be, as the quote above says. Relationships, money, sex, work, scientific discovery, creativity, faith, leisure…you name it, they currently bear no resemblance to what they were intended to be.

With every lie we believe, with every perversion we act on, we drift further away from our original design, from human flourishing. It’s individual, and it’s collective, just like all of life on this earth is to us humans. What was once a pure and undefiled reality and relationship with the Architect of the universe becomes a fragmented hellscape, fractalling out like a broken kaleidoscope. An inception of deception.

I could trace the timeline of deception and the movements of our Enemy back to the Garden, and maybe at some point I will, but for now, I want to stay focused on our near past and present. And then we’ll get into what I believe the future is going to look like.

Over the last two plus years, those with eyes to see have witnessed the true corruption and infestation of every one of our pillar institutions. Institutions are necessary for a civilized society, regardless of all the messaging that tells us to tear them down. Without institutions and systems, we have anarchy, chaos, and the inability to truly progress as a people.

Now, even as I write this, I also hear the voice in my head saying “OK, but look at the institutions as they stand. What have they given us besides anarchy, chaos, and the inability to truly progress?” I hear you Michael Malice. Which speaks to the basic fundamental that regardless of what humans chose to build a society on, human nature remains. In the end, if we aren’t aligned with our Creator and the plumb line, the Truth in Jesus Christ, we’re just going to push paint around on the canvas and it’s going to look ugly and black and muddy.

I’m an optimist and believe in accentuating the positives. I’ll see the glass as half full. But I’m also a realist, and the reality of humanity is this: if you ask me if humans are fundamentally good or bad, on our own, we’re black and mangled and tortured and there is no redemption in our capacity. Our nature, apart from Christ, is rotten. We cannot save ourselves, individually or societally.

Any goodness we do bear is an echo from before time, a hint of the original design we were meant to be, and I thank God that He’s allowed that to remain and echo through our timeline to this day. As long as that echo from Eden remains, total darkness and depravity will not overtake us. Every genuine smile, laugh, act of compassion, moment of creativity, true justice, and mercy is a remnant of the kingdom we once had and lost in this life. These are the Light, the Truth, and they are eternal. That bell still rings.

Yet day by day, the echo does fade. The ringing of Truth gets quieter, softer, drown out. Like an old cassette tape, we record over the original again and again and again, and pretty soon we aren’t able to understand anything on that garbled mess.

If there’s anything positive about the last few years, it has truly been that real light, real truth, has been shined into these dark and infested holes. You and I have seen it and been a part of it. Brave medical professionals and journalists and, yes, even politicians have done it. Regular people with skills and talents have stepped up and given us data and tips and documentation. THAT has been breathtaking to witness, and I’m so happy to be on this side of history to experience it.

But that light…wow, it sure does show the level of decay. That light has begun to turn the rocks over and illuminate the dark holes, and boy, it’s disgusting. The creatures are legion, they are slimy, and they are hell bent on destroying anything that bears any trace of Light. They need to silence that clear ringing of the bell, at all costs.

Our Enemy comes from the pit of darkness. It comes in multitudes, in hoards, in rank, foul, blackness. It comes in waves of bitterness and terror and manipulation. It screams, it whispers, it sings. It comes ringing it’s own gongs and bells. It masquerades as light and bites with the fury of death. Every abomination the human mind can conceive, and then the ones we can’t, come to us from this hoard.

Our movies and video games and stories all come from a place rooted in truth, in some version of reality. When we watch Lord of the Rings and see the Orcs screaming out of Isengard or listen as Thanos tells us his plans, there’s truth to that. We as humans intuitively know that evil is real, and for thousands of years, we’ve been doing our best to understand and imagine what that reality looks like. All of our great stories of light and dark, victory and defeat are muddy, veiled glimpses into that spiritual realm that is present and more real than the flesh on your bones.

The evil and abominations we’ve seen with our own eyes since 2020 do come from this great beyond. This isn’t hyperbole. Satan has a game plan. He has his forces of darkness. He relentlessly converses with us, moving the goal posts, showing us illusions, making empty promises, in order to advance his agenda down the field.

He and his agents, they continue to interact with us, just like the Genesis 3 story. Back then, the lies were fresh and few. The air those first humans breathed wasn’t originally spoiled. Yet when they gave in and disobeyed, it opened the portal for ALL of the darkness to come spilling out from that ancient gate they were forced behind for so long. They got to work quickly, injecting viruses into the operating system, viruses that continue to multiply and metastasize and consume and kill to this very moment.

A new bell was rung.

How many times have you been alone, and you hear a still, small voice whispering something like:

Do you even matter? Why would you think anyone would love you or want YOU?

Just take a little bit more. No one will notice.

God, you’re so ugly.

If only they knew what you did, they would disgusted.

You don’t think everyone can see right through you? You don’t think they KNOW you’re a fraud and failure?

If only you do this thing, you’ll become more powerful. Sleep with them. Do that experiment. Make that deal. Put that on your resume. Punch them in the face. Snort that line. Say these words.

You are ALONE. And you’ll always be alone.

LIES. Not original lies, but powerful lies. Handed down to us from generation to generation, shaping the masses. Lies that motivate us to decide what’s not ultimately in our best interest. Lies that lead us away from what’s healthy and wholistic and valuable for ourselves and the fabric of our society.

One belief in these lies at a time, acted upon, brings us to where we are today. Has made us who we are today. Has organized us and converted us and created the false, destructive, perverted, and wicked abominations we’ve seen as we’ve shed real light, disinfecting light, into this darkness en mass for the first time in ages.

We’ll continue to explore that in the next segment and drill down on how we go from some ethereal, spiritual realm, down to reality that is someone like Fauci or Trudeau. They are a construct. Human flesh puppets, being used by darkness to bring chaos and destruction into the very DNA of your body and mind. They still have their free will, but they have given into these lies for so long that what remains is a shell. There is no light in them. They simply can’t hear the bell anymore. Nor are they interested in trying.

They are part of the grand chess game, and the Enemy knows he’s got them under control. He knows how to move them.

You? You, on the other hand, you frustrate him. You’re still looking for the Light and continuing to pick up the faint ringing the Bell. And because of that, you are powerful. Because of that, you are formidable. Keep listening. Keep looking for the light. Be diligent and undaunted in your searching.

Those who seek, will find.
