Institutionalized Hypochondria Is Anti-Science
The Perfect Description For The Madness of Covid
Recently on The Naked Emperor’s Substack, he (or she) put out a list of things that Jay Bhattacharya has been compiling in an effort to call out anti-scientific policies and procedures throughout Covid.
If you don’t know Jay Bhattacharya by now, he was one of the authors of The Great Barrington Declaration (now with almost 933,000 signatures from around the world).
As I was reading through his list, #27 jumped out at me like a flashing billboard:
I’m pretty good with words, but that’s just a damn Sistine Chapel of word architecture right there.
The other day, The Bad Cat put out a post that had a Twitter thread that showed an hysterical woman berating a person. The reason? SHE had stolen this guy’s kid’s lemonade money because they had a booth on the street, trying to make some money, doing something fun, and…spreading Covid.
Institutionalized Hypochondria is the ONLY really accurate way to label this. People walking around double-masked, outside, to this day, is the only way to accurately describe this.
Doctors refusing to allow patients to see them without both being masked…
People putting the latest boosters into their 6 year old…
Sadly, this…
As Covid descended on the world - or more accurately - governments descended on the people under the false flag of Covid - I had so many moments where all the dashboard lights were on and all of the clear-ringing bells were going off.
About a week into lockdowns, I realized something was very wrong about everything. Right away, the thought that all of this was a sort of social experiment and beta test for something much bigger started to gnaw in the pit of my stomach, and with each passing day and each new piece of news, that inkling turned into a hammer smashing my temples.
I’m not going to rehash the last 30+ months. We’ve all lived it in our own ways. And while the cast of villains and the list of unfathomable treachery reaches far and wide, what’s clear is that a new world order truly was intentionally introduced and reinforced.
Laws, norms, ethics, principles, and systems far and wide have been forever altered. Every institution that we’ve seen has been exposed and captured, probably beyond repair. There are so many perversions that have been introduced into the societal ecosystem that it’s hard to pinpoint which one’s the worst.
The fact that hypochondria has now been successfully instituted - yet another new, very real, and dangerous virus - means that this virus will continue to attack and mutate. It’s just not going away. There’s no vaccine for this one, either. This will continue to churn through the general public just like the flu or the common cold, and many, many people will simply accept it and live in chronic sickness for the rest of their lives.
Some will get better. As more truth comes out, there will continue to be those that find themselves getting healthy. Others will continue to live without this sickness, as we have by and large over the last few years. We’ll continue to explore truth, regardless of where it takes us. We’ll exercise our minds, hearts, and individual freedom. We’ll live as an example to others, and there will be those who ask us why we’re so “healthy” and want to know our “exercise” routine and diet.
Yet sadly, many will chose to live with this chronic illness. They’ll view it as a badge of honor, as their identity. What’s always fascinated and frustrated me about a lot of chronically sick and unhealthy people is that in a lot of cases, they are choosing it. They would rather stay sick and unhealthy, convincing themselves they can’t take steps to improve. It’s much more in their minds than in their bodies. But when an identity and self-worth take hold around something, it’s really hard to convince people to make the changes that they can make and control the thing they can control. So it will be with this institutionalized hypochondria.
So please, stay healthy. Stay informed. Live as an example of freedom from this disease as long as you can. Push yourself, discipline yourself, and in the right spots, when there’s genuine interest and curiosity, tell those that are trying to get healthy about this disease and how you’ve combatted it.
And to end on an encouraging note, I would love some comments of ways that you’ve stayed healthy through this institutionalizing, and I would love to hear of those moments when you know your example has made a difference in other’s lives.
I was an early skeptic, and rejected the idea of lockdowns or forced vaccinations. In my community, the mayor and her appointed director of health and human services decided to shut down all the bars and eateries. My response was to open our shop to Friday Afternoon Clubs. We had great conversations, cold beverages, and maintained a sense of community with our customers and other like minded folks. Guess how many of us died or faced severe illness from this "risky" behavior?
HINT: less than 1.
In my mind, this is how we defeat the overreach of government and squash the Karens of the world... have a good time and just be a little non compliant. Something about those afternoons with cold beers and good people maintained my faith in spite of the absolute calamity that society had become.
Not one of the true believers I know has admitted being duped, or that they were wrong, or otherwise asked how I stayed strong & withstood all the pressure to get jabbed. Im not sure which ones are continuing to shoot up or have come to their senses & stopped because I don’t ask & really don’t care. I got accused early on by one of them & very sarcastically that I made my opinions very clear & often on the scam & after that I just thought to hell w/ it & w/ all of you
